The Ibis Amsterdam Centre hotel is located in the centre of Amsterdam, right next to Central Station. This makes it an ideal location to explore not only the sights and sounds of Amsterdam, but also the rest of Holland. It is a short walk from the red light district, the flower market, Dam Square and the Jordaan district, and only a short tram ride away from the Museumplein where you can find the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. The exterior of the hotel is very modern and when the additional hotel wing is completed, it will wrap over the train tracks! Again, the lobby is currently being completely renovated, however, when it is open, it will be very large and modern and will lead to a large and modern seating area and restaurant. This is a great hotel to have in our portfolio, in a very central location and offers very good service and value for money. Typical of the new Ibis rooms, the bedrooms are small and basic but clean and very comfortable. Bathrooms are shower only but are also clean and comfortable and both are in very good condition. *** Renovation notice: Renovation works will be taking place from the 03rd January until the 31st March 2011, the works will be on the guest rooms and hallways in tower A. Building A will be closed during the works. ***
